Replacing a Tool
The Change Tool switch will display the Replace Tool window which shows the options of different tools available. The tool that is currently used has a blue fill and a thick outline. A tool with a light-blue cross-hatch indicates other tools which are used in this setup.
Ordenar – This will sort the displayed tools by Height, Name, Shape, Radius, Angle, Priority, or Inventory depending on which option is chosen.
Filter – This checkbox can be used to have an unrestricted view of all tools regardless of whether they are suitable or not. Turn on the filter to see only tools in the inventory and turn it off to see all tools. In this view, the tools that are not suitable are greyed out, and moving the mouse over one of these tools indicates why it is not available for selection.
Buscar en – A tool name or short name can be entered here to quickly narrow the tool list. Partially typing in a tool name can be used also, for example, typing OW200 will display OW200, OW200/S and OW200/K tools.
Scale – The slider is used to adjust the sizes of the tool images.
Todos Tools – The hierarchy on the left can be used to narrow down the selection.
Hovering the mouse over the tool images will give an immediate re-compute. This displays in real-time whether the tool being considered will cause any collision problems. The corresponding bends in the bend-navigator will instantly light up in red if there is a collision. This real-time preview makes it very easy to experiment with various tool choices until the best option can be selected.
Click on the desired tool to apply the change to the setup. If no change is needed, use the Esc key to revert and the original tool is left unchanged.
