Add Wirejoint / Microjoint

This tool is used to manually add wirejoints and micro joints to a punch part.

Once the tool is selected you will be able to type in the offset from corner and joint width into the prompt bar and enable or disable the 1.5X check. These are explained further below. Click, on the location of the where part the microjoint should be placed and the joint will be shown.

Offset from Corner – This is the distance required from the nearest edge of the part to the middle of the joint.

Width – The is the total length of the joint.

Skip 1.5X Check – The 1.5X check is when tooling is overlapping to give a cleaner finish and preserve tools. Clicking this option will ignore this rule.
