Manual Place Array
Inside the Punch tab, navigate to the Manual Place Array icon.
This mode is used to create an array of punches with a selected tool. LAA, GRD, ARC and BHC-type arrays can be created. When you switch to this mode, the Tools mounted in the turret window appear, and you can pick the tool to use.

After you pick the tool, type in the reference coordinates and press Enter or click on the reference point for the array.

The Manual Place Array dialogue comes up and you can pick an array type and enter its parameters. When you click the OK button, the array tooling is created. No geometry is created by this command, so it is an efficient way to create and work with very large arrays of punches.

Click the right mouse button to hold the tool by a different hold point. The reference point you click on or the coordinates you type in are mapped to this holding point on the tool.

Working with a tool that already exists in the drawing
To work with a tool that already exists in the part, just select any random tool from the Tools mounted in the turret window. Then, hold down the ALT key and click on some punch tooling in the part; the tool used by that punch will be picked up for use.
