Pick

In the Pick mode, you can move tools between the tool library and the turret, and between stations in the turret.
Pick an unmounted tool from the tool list on the right, drag it over a station (whose range matches) and drop it to mount it into that station.
Double-click on a tool in the tool list to edit the information about that tool in the tool editor, discussed in detail in the section about the Tool Library.
You can sometimes mount a smaller tool into a larger range station by using an adapter. To indicate that you are using an adapter, hold down the Shift key when you are dragging the tool into position, and MetaCAM will then allow you to mount a smaller range tool into a larger range station.
Move a tool between stations by clicking on the tool in one station, dragging it to the other station and dropping it there.
Remove a tool from a station by clicking on it, dragging it out of the station and dropping it.
Mount the tool at a different angle by clicking the right mouse button on the station, and picking a new mounting angle from the menu that pops up.
In the turret view, you can get tool information for a particular station by just moving the mouse over the station; the tool information is displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the MetaCAM window.
In the turret view, you pick up tools from a station by clicking on the station and dragging. In the table view, you can pick up the tools by clicking on the row header at the left of the table (where the small triangular row indicator appears). Note that you can still drag and drop into the list as well.
