Punch Spline
Inside the Punch tab, navigate to the Punch Spline icon. 
This tool is used to punch along smooth, small-segmented polylines that are created from Spline curves. Spline curves in the drawing editor must be converted into polylines with many small segments using the Decurve tool in the drawing editor. 
On entering this mode, the Tools mounted in the turret dialogue appear, and you can pick the tool to use. These polylines can be processed using circle tools (or with rectangle tools mounted in index stations).
To add tooling to the entire polyline, click on it with the Ctrl key pressed. To add tooling to the polyline partially the start and end point of tooling must be specified by clicking on the polyline. If you are tooling a closed polyline an intermediate click is required between the clicks that set the start and end point since the endpoint can be reached by moving in either direction along the polyline. In this case, a second click chooses the direction.
The tooling can be placed centred on the polyline, or to the left or right of the polyline. To switch between these different placements, click the right mouse button. Then, when you snap to a polyline, the tool is displayed in the appropriate orientation relative to the polyline. Then, you can click to place the tooling.
Working with a tool that already exists in the drawing
To work with a tool that already exists in the part, just select any random tool from the Tools mounted in the turret window. Then, hold down the ALT key and click on some punch tooling in the part; the tool used by that punch will be picked up for use.
