Reconfigure Turret

The Reconfigure Turret tool is used to

  • Add new stations
  • Remove or edit the existing turret stations

To add new stations to the turret, you can drag them from the Station Types on the right and drop them onto the turret.

If you want to remove an existing station hold the CTRL key down and then click on the station to be removed. An ‘X’ mark will be displayed when the station has been removed.

To edit a particular station double-click on the station. This brings up the Edit Turret Station dialog which is shown below.

Size: Use this drop-down list to change the range of the turret station from the available options.

NC Code: Use this setting to edit the NC Code for the turret station.

Position (X, Y): You can set the position of the station in the turret by specifying the X and Y axes values (Cartesian coordinates).

Position (R, T): Use this setting to edit the radius and theta values of the particular station (Polar coordinates).

Keys, Slots: You can edit the existing values of the Keys and Slots using this setting.

Deadzone (L, R, B, T): Use this setting to set the deadzone for the station or to edit the existing deadzone value.

Offset (L, R, B, T): Set the offset value or edit the existing value of the offset using this setting.

Indexing: Turn on this option if you want to convert the station to an indexing station.
