Setup Chutes

This tool is used to manually modify removal chutes.

Chutes can be set up by the auto-tooler following the Finishing Rules that are set up in the Punch CAM settings, or you can right-click on tooling and select the After Punch Option and click the Chute intended for the part. The Setup Chutes command is used to modify the chute unloading positions for such tooling. If you click on tooling that uses a chute, the chute position is displayed in relation to the part. You can now hold down the Ctrl key and drag it to move the chute to a more suitable unloading position. MetaCAM will then add NC code to drag the part so that it drops into the chute at the specified position. Use the Shift key and click the Chute for the positioning to be reset.
