Stretch Tooling

This tool is used to stretch or shrink tooling in a punch part.

Once the tool is selected, first click the tool which is to be stretched or shrunk. Hold the Shift key to select multiple tools. Then, click on the section of the tool which will be the navigation point. Click again to indicate the endpoint of the move. Depending on the direction of this vector, the tooling will stretch or shrink.

You can also indicate the move vector by using the prompt bar at the top of the page.

Stretch – Enter here the value for the tool to be extended.

Skip 1.5X Check – The 1.5 check is when tooling is overlapping to give a cleaner finish and preserve tools. Clicking the skip 1.5 checks will ignore this rule.
