Select the Open icon on the left side of the main screen or use the shortcut key O.
The following file formats are supported while importing a part into the Part Library:
- DXF
- DWG
- 2D IGES
- SLDPRT
- SolidEdge
- 3D IGES
- SAT files
- Creo Files

The user can also drag and drop files into the Praxis Part Library directly. These options allow the individual or batch importing of parts.
After successful import, parts are auto-tooled. The user will be able to see the tooling status for each available machine, and the material, size, and thickness of the part.
