Remote SQL connection troubleshooting

Unless setup at the time of installation, the SQL remote connection is disabled by most of the SQL flavors. Praxis will report connection failed in such situations. You will need SQL Configuration Manager and SQL Management Studio tools to enable it.
Refer to SQL Server Configuration section for more details.
Note:
Even though Praxis supports SQL and Praxis servers installed on different computers. For better performance and reliability, we recommend installing them both on same computer. In the Praxis system, the automation services (Praxis Engine) is the most CPU consuming. So install Engine application on a separate computer if this is an issue.
