Inserting and Editing a Label
Inserting a Label
Labels are inserted automatically when you add a field or a table. However, you can insert a standalone label (or any other fixed text) by choosing Sys > Label
These items (bitmaps, labels and shapes) are available for insertion even within a sub-report or band. They are then repeated as many times as the band is rendered.
Editing a Label
When you click on the label that just got added, you will see a panel that allows you to edit various settings for that label. The label also gets highlighted and sizing handles are added around the label, allowing you to resize it by dragging any of them. You can also click right on the label and drag it around to reposition it. When you are dragging to move or resize an item, various snap indicators are automatically displayed to make it easier to align this label precisely with other items already on the report.

You will also be prompted with a Label dialogue box. The editing panel for the label (and for most other report items) contains a large number of settings to tune every aspect of the visual display.

Text – This is the text that is displayed inside the label.
Page break before – Enable this option if you wish to insert a page break before adding this field to the report.
Translate – Clicking on this option will bring up the Translations table, allowing you to populate different language options for the specified label in the report.

Delete – Clicking on this button will delete the label from the report.
