The editor is fully interactive and has some additional options for controlling the layout.
Add
The add option will display a dialog box showing any parts in the current job that are not nested where you can click to pick or pick them all and you will then see a display of the picked parts, selecting a part will then add it to the nest either in the sheet if there is available space or on the outer of the sheet for manual manipulation as parts are added then the add part dialog will update to show how many parts are left to add based on the initial job requirements.
Nesting
The nesting option has 5 main options
- Rearrange to create a remainder sheet which will attempt to repack the sheet to create a remainder / remnant.
- Rearrange to use full sheet which will change the spaces between the part to fill the sheet whilst trying to keep a remainder sheet.
- Spread-out parts horizontally which will spread the parts out to the maximum gaps in horizontal direction without keeping a remainder sheet.
- Spread-out parts vertically which will spread the parts out to the maximum gaps in vertical direction without keeping a remainder sheet.
- Spread-out parts horizontally and vertically which will spread the parts out to the maximum gaps in horizontal and vertical direction without keeping a remainder sheet.
Traverse
The traverse option will display an overview of the traverse lines.
Measure
The measure option will allow you take simple point to point measurements for items on the sheet.
