Back to: Bend
In this lesson we will cover different methods for creating bend programs along with detail on the workflow and keyboard shortcuts.
Now we have our CAD file with material assigned to it we can start the bend process, which can be achieved 1 of 2 ways.
Option 1 – Use the Workflow Panel
The workflow panel is designed to display the visual steps of processing a part so for example import a part, convert to sheet metal, bend the part, 2d unfolded view of the part and post process to generate the NC Code.
Additionally in the workflow you can also reload the part by clicking on the rebuild icon, switch it to another press brake by clicking on the select different press brake icon and reset the bend process.
Clicking on the X or pressing escape on your keyboard will close the dialog box.
Option 2 Using Keyboard Shortcut B
Simply pressing B on your keyboard will take the part through the whole process of bending and code generation if an automatic solution was found.
