Recompute will present you some options to either re-calculate the solution or try some different options.
Overrides
Don’t change the sequence
If you currently have a bend sequence, then this will be retained whilst the rest of the bend process is computed.
No Angle Measurement
If angle measurement is supported on the press brake, then this option will disable it. Note is angle measurement is not supported then this option will be disabled by default.
Don’t Change The Gauge Positions
If you currently have gauge positions set, then these will be retained whilst the rest of the bend process is computed.
Ignore Tools From GEO/DXF Files
If tooling information is stored in a DXF or GEO file then enabling this option will ignore that information whilst the bend process is computed.
Setups
Compute new Setup
This option will disregard any setup information whilst the bend process is computed.
Keep Existing Setup
This option will attempt to find a solution information whilst the bend process is computed.
Use Setup From File
This option will display a dialog box that will allow you to select a tool inventory file (bsetup).
Use Setup From Another Part
If this option is enabled, then you will be able you pick from a drop down of currently opened parts and use the setup from the selected part. If using this option, then the tools selection will not be available in the recompute options.
Tools
All tools in catalog
Using this option will consider all tools that are installed whilst the bend process is computed.
Tools From
Using this option will consider all the active tools across all installed catalogues whilst the bend process is computed.
Named Tool List
Using this option will allow you to select from any stored named tool lists that are created in the tool inventory.
Use Tool-Set From File
Using option will display a dialog box that will allow you to select a tool inventory file (btools) which can be generated from the tool inventory.
Specific Tools
Using this option will allow you to select specific tools that are installed and available.
Tool Inventory Check
This checkbox when enabled can work with the other tools options to enable or disable the usage of configured tool inventory.
Sequence Priority
Avoid collision during overbend
Enabling this checkbox will attempt to avoid collisions when overbending compensation is taking place.
Avoid Gauging On Open Angles
Enabling this checkbox will attempt to not place a back gauge on an open angle within a part.
Avoid Part Tipping Backwards
Enabling this checkbox will attempt to keep the weight of the part at the front of the machine with the operator.
Don’t Use Low-Priority Tools
Enabling this checkbox will prevent the usage of low priority tools which can be set in the tool inventory.
Minimise Part Flips
Enabling this checkbox will attempt to minimize the number of times that a part is flipped during the bend process.
Minimize Part Rotations
Enabling this checkbox will attempt to minimize the number of times that a part is rotated during the bend process.
The sequence priorities can be enabled or disabled and can have the priority order set where the bending sequence will work top down from your priorities.
