Network Installation – Client PC
- Right-click the installer and choose to run as administrator.
- Check all the appropriate options – Create Desktop Shortcut and Install the Pre-requisites.
- Select Next then Install
- At the end of the installation, you will be asked to launch the software. Uncheck this as we first need to point the application to the licence server that was set up in Network Installation – MetaLock Installation.
- Open a notepad and enter the following information
[Basic]
LicenseServer=COMPUTERNAME (replace COMPUTERNAME with your licence server name or IP address) - Once that is entered click file → Save As…
- Save this file in C:\ProgramData\Metamation\Flux\Recent and call it notes.ini (change the drop-down menu from a txt file to say all files)
- Select the application and the launch screen will display.
